I’m trying to download a game for free on iTunes and it keeps asking me for payment details and when I try cancel my card it says Apple stor doesn’t accept this payment but I just want to cancel it yet it won’t let me

Cancelling a declined App Store payment? I made a purchase within a APP, a game to be exact. I was unaware my paycheck had not been deposited into my account yet, and my payment method was declined. And I cannot download any apps until I verify or change the payment method it says. I’d like to cancel the [Pending] App Store purchase. How to cancel a payment? I accidently purchased a free trial for an app and would be charged $50 after, I don’t have a payment method but I want to add my card but I’m scared that it’ll charge me. it told me to update payment method since the there was a billing problem. So how do I cancel the payment?
