the last backup could not be completed

I cannot get my Ipad to back up. I have 4.7 GB available out of 5.7 GB. Icloud back up is enabled. when I select "Back up Now" back up starts but never completes.

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + Cellular

You have to have your iPad connected to a power source and you must be connected to Wi-Fi. 4.7 GB probably isn't enough storage in your iCloud to allow you to back up your iPad.
