Why won’t my speaker work?

I purchased an iPhone 6 on 2/25/18 been in an otter box from the second I bought it. Never been dropped. Not a single scratch or anything on this phone and all of a sudden my speaker will not work unless my phone is on speaker phone. Why?

No audio i dropped my iphone 6s on the ground and now the speaker wont work. it happened in the summer, and i fixed the problem back then by just hitting the speaker, and the noise would go back. one day it lost sound but when i hit it to turn the noise back on, there was no sound. how do i fix this?
