an old itunes account keeps popping up and asking for the password. I don't know the password and i want to delete this. How do I do this?

My iphone is asking me to put in the password for an old itunes account to log into the itunes store? I restarted my iphone 6 plus and tried to open whatsapp. But now it's asking me to suddenly put in the password for the old itunes account (this is the itunes account from the previous owner of the phone) to log into the itunes store. Idk what to do and it's driving me nuts. I have work to do and I'm afraid i'll lose all my information.
