My iPhone erased all inside My photos and I cannot retrieve it

I was using my cell camera fine all this week. My cell will reset suddenly and without letting me know shut completely all the sudden, then I noticed the bad part. My iPhone 6 erased everything in my Photos folder and I want to know how can I recover them? I have almost 8000 pictures and videos and now I lost them all... Where did they go? Can anyone help me recover all my pictures?

Recover lost photos after back up I have iphone 7 plus..My phone was restarted during update and had to connect to itunes and then phone was automatically restored.. now all my photos since 2017 are not available since they are not backed up to the icloud. Is there anyway that I can recover them? It has lot of my important photos like graduation photos that I don't have anywhere.. Please help
