Why doesn't my MXF files stitch together on Final Cut Pro 10.4 like they did on 10.3

Why don't my MXF files stitch together in the video import in 10.4 like they did in 10.3? Now they come in 20 minute segments (when they are part of the same video shot).

Exporting projects with both .Mov and AVCHD files in iMovie 10.2.2 I recently accepted the 10.2.2 update to iMovie on Mac, but since then I don’t seem to be able to export projects containing more than one file type. As I use clips from different devices I could previously use both AVCHD (Sony camera) and .MOV (iPhone) in same project. Now I get an export failure error relating to the ‘absolute frame’. When I check back in the project I can see the .MOV clips are now showing as blank (they didn’t when I was assembling the timeline however). I do seem to be able to export projects containing just ONE file type Ok, tho. However my clips are split 50/50 between the different types. Any suggestions - or should I just go through the arduous task of converting half the files to match the others and re-add them to the project from there?

Final Cut Pro doesn't export all items on timeline Hi, I'm quite new to FCPX and have been using it recently to put together some very short clips of a friend doing exercises with a very simple timeline that consists of: Opening title >> transition >> 4K movie clip >> transition >> exit title The titles are both imported jpegs and the transitions are standard dissolves from FCPX. Two weeks ago I made about 70 of these clips very successfully, but yesterday when I attempted to do some more I found that the final few seconds of video will not import. When I playback in QT, the exported video in the clip stops at, or just before, the end of the .mov file and doesn't include the second transition nor exit title. The audio does continue til the end and duration of the exported clip matches the timeline. I've tried to watch the clip on a friend's Mac and the result is the same. I've cleared FCPX's preferences upon loading the software and have restarted my Mac, but no change. I've uploaded a screenshot of my timeline. Can anyone help!?

Final Cut Pro exports larger than original file? So, in this world of conferences gone virtual, I've received a video file of a full day of a virtual conference that I am trying to cut down into individual sessions. The original file is about 5 hours long, just under 5GB size, video codec is H.264, aucio is AAC, res is 1920 x 1080. I am trying to cut this footage into four approx 1-hour files. But when I cut this file into four smaller parts, each of these new files is being exported as 6 - 9GB files. The settings are the same - H.264, AAC, 1920x1080 -- can someone please explain how a 5GB, 5-hour long video is becoming four 9GB, 1-hour long videos when I try to cut it down? I'm not adding any titles or frills, literally just chopping it up and trying to export the sessions separately, so how am I about to end up with 30+ GB of files to upload when the original is only 5GB to begin with? I'm pulling my hair out over here. I'm running final cut version 10.4.9
