Family Sharing Hacked?

I discovered this problem when I was unable to download a few apps on my iPhone. I received the pop up saying that there is a billing problem with a family members previous purchase and to ask the family organizer to update their billing information. I have never set up family sharing or granted access to join one. I then noticed that an unfamiliar ID (in Chinese) was being used to manage family sharing for my account. Also about a week ago, I was notified that my Apple account was used to purchase two $15 iTunes gift cards which I did not purchase or authorize. I was not given the option to refute these charges as normally done for any other iTunes purchase. I immediately changed my password. I then tried to leave whatever family sharing group i was unknowingly apart of I click the 'set up family sharing' link on my iPhone. Then i receive a pop up saying that I can not start family sharing because my account is already being used to share purchases by another family listed in Chinese. Has my account been hacked?

It sounds possible or your have received a bunch of scam attempts. I suggest that in addition to changing your password, you consider doing a name change. You also might want to consider 2 Factor Authentication. See if you can leave Family Sharing or disband it.
