I bought an ipad. I can't get in touch with the previous owner. it has an activation lock. how do i bypass it. i bought it for my son. I did the holding 2 buttons at the same time, then it goes back to activation lock. Help me out please.....

iCloud: Activation Lock - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT201365 - This is a security feature to deter re-selling of stolen devices.
Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock (formerly: Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account) - https://support.apple.com/HT201441 - If an activation lock was put on a device, only the owner of the account that applied the lock can remove it.
i cant get in touch with the previous owner and i would like my son to have the ipad what can i do to get by the activation lock
