This is still happening. Any ideas?

Sorry, that was a screenshot of the only similar post I could find about the issue when searching (using my phone) online for Apple TV issues. When I used the link to start a new conversation I didn’t realize it was under Phone. Sorry for wasted time. I’ll get this moved to the right spot.

It certainly looks like you're using an iPhone X (you did not tell us which model you are using).
The iPhone X includes that bar at the bottom of almost every screen to indicate where to swipe up from.

Oh, you did post your question in the iPhone community.
Further, the screen layout does look like an iPhone, given the time, geolocation symbol, Wi-Fi symbol and battery symbol on top,
So it looks like you are simply AirPlaying your iPhone's image to the Apple TV, and therefore the fact you're seeing this on an Apple TV is irrelevant, because the TV is simply displaying what the iPhone displays.
