I want to look back at text messages from a couple of months ago. Is there a quick way to do this? I have the messages saved on iCloud, and i haven't deleted them off of my phone. I am just curious if there is a way to go back and view them easily. Thank you!

It's not clear what you mean by this. The only way messages could be saved on iCloud currently would be in a backup of your iPhone to iCloud. To view messages from that backup, you would have to restore the entire backup to your iPhone, overwriting whatever happened to be on the iPhone.
If you need to archive the messages so you can reference old ones more conveniently, consider taking screen shots of them and archiving the screen shots in your computer's photo library.
