Unwanted texts from Fox News

Didn’t sign up for Fox News alerts. I don’t have the app. Sending STOP to 36288 doesn’t work. Getting texts all night and day long.

Stopping Unknown Texts esp. Political Ads/Texts I have all the settings set up properly to block unknown texts yet I am still getting ~10 texts today from people not in my Address Book which is getting very annoying. Most of these are political ads/text not even in my area code which is a huge waste of time. Tp be clear, I have done the following: Messages>Filter Unknown Senders and turned on Notifications>Customized Notifications>Message>Unknown Senders and turned on Blocked individual numbers when the text comes but they constantly change their phone numbers so this seems to be a waste On Phone>Silence Unknown Caller and turned On Even though I have all these setting like this for 2 months I am still getting unwanted texts. What else should I try?

Spam texts!! I've been receiving a daily barrage of spam texts lately. I've been blocking the numbers but of course they merely use another number. I've also been reporting them to Verizon's spam text system (7726). I'm using Verizon's call filter but it doesn't divert texts. Do Not Disturb just silences the alert and isn't reliable at letting contacts through. Aside from turning off my phone or getting a new phone number is there anything I can do?
