My iPhone screen is black and its not charging, I cleaned out the charging port. And that didn't work then I lift it on charge for several hours and that didn't work either. I even did the hot plate trick and that was unresponsive too, please help me.

Try the following steps in this order:
1) press the Volume Up button
2) press the Volume Down button
3) press AND hold the power button
At this point, your phone will give you the option to “Slide to Shutdown”, but DO NOT do it. Just continue holding the power button, and after about ten seconds, your phone will shut off. Continue to hold the power button until the Apple logo appears, then release.

maybe you just need to install restore for software from iTunes or maybe hardware issue (battery) need to change .
