Question: Bug In High Sierra (10.13.3) Disk Utility?

I think there is a bug In High Sierra (10.13.3) Disk Utility. Normally (at least in all previous systems) the option to empty internal drive is greyed out but when using APFS formatted SSD the option is not greyed out when you choose ”show all devices”. This is bit scary since you need to use show all devices option to reformat APFS formatted external SSDs and you might have drives from same manufacturer.

Is this a bug? Is it possible to accidentally erase internal drive?

Interesting question. I tested this on my iMac Pro and indeed when selecting my internal drive, Erase was not greyed out and when clicked on brought up the Format dialog window. I was too chicken to press the "erase" button. Hopefully it won't be allowed.
