My iMac 21.5 inch late 2009 doesn’t boot up completely.

The Imac reaches the end of the bar during boot and doesn’t go any further. I have tried nvram reset and have installed high sierra twice. I repaired the hard five in disk utility and i had not taken a new backup since 2 years. Is there anything that can be done without loss of data.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)
