Is Apple doing anything to fix the Apple TV gen 3 (A1427) Apple Music streaming problem? Or is Apple indirectly requiring customers to upgrade to the Apple TV 4 for so Apple Music is available to them on this platform?

If you take a look at this article from Apple about Apple Music - Plans, you will see in the bottom of the page this information, showing that the minimum system for the Apple TV to use Apple Music is the 4th Generation.

Thank you for replying. With all due respect. It isn’t good to know that the investment I made installing these Apple TV 3’s across my home are basically useless when it comes to the music function unless I purchase the song. This is nothing more than Apple’s lazyness by not considering software support for Apple Music cross platform for Apple TV. It would be nice if i was allowed to use a function I pay monthly for on a platform that is not that old. I am an Apple customer because of the cross platform compatibility. This is just one more reason I will think twice before purchasing an Apple product in the future.
