macOs High Sierra user switching slow

I have a 2015 MacBook Air 128 gb, 8 gb ram, 30.5 gb free on disk.

With High Sierra, switching between users takes about 30 seconds, I didn't have this problem with Sierra.

I have the exact same problem. Sierra was great. High sierra thinks a long time before switching. I'm on (the first) 5k iMac so it's not a battery problem...

iMacs slow down after adding a new shared user Hi. I've two iMac computers (late 2012) with 10.13.6 system (High Sierra). Both are connected to the network via an ethernet cable. When I created a new user in each of them just for sharing, the computer slowed down significantly. Unfortunately, the speed does not go back even if I delete shared user. Does anyone know where might be the problem and how to solve it? Thanks. Simon
