When i restore an iphone 6s, do the apps and what's inside the apps get deleted?

Everything will be wiped from your phone. You can restore your apps and data from the last backup you made.

This is an example of why it's a good idea to update iOS as soon as possible when new updates come out. The most recent update fixes the vulnerability that allowed this to happen to you.

My last backup was a long time ago, so everything from then till now will be wiped?
