Ipad is stuck

My ipad is stuck...it has the apple on the screen as if it is coming on. When charger is plugged in, it keeps making the noise about every 10 seconds like it makes when first plugging up to charger. You cannot turn it off. Please help....what can I do to fix this problem? I cannot turn it off, reboot by holding power and home, or get anything on the screen besides the apple symbol.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that your iPad is stuck with an Apple logo. You've tried great steps to get this issue resolved! Take a look at the link below and follow the steps in the section "If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up".
