how do i downgrade from high sierra to yosemite

mac os high sierra does not function properly on my mac

specially the ,mails it takes log time to download and get normal

aslo the mailbox gets offline frequently and manually i have to it online


as i can't find any solution of using os high sierra with out this issues, i want to down grade it to yosemite

which was working absolutely fine and trouble free

MacBook Pro, iOS 11.2.6, need to down grade to yosemite

If your machine is capable of running Yosemite.

macOS Sierra: Revert to a previous macOS version


There maybe a better way of sorting your issues, if you are more specific your problems with the current macOS.


Going backwards is a last resort.

Can your computer run Yosemite? You can't downgrade if the computer came with something newer.


Downgrading OS usually means backing up files, erasing the drive and installing OSX fresh, then manually add data files. Remember, documents opened by newer software may require that newer version to open.


Unless you are lucky and only switched recently and are willing to go back to an old backup you have of your drive.
