Heart beat

so I went for a stress test today and had my Apple Watch on during this. The medical equipment registered my heart at 190 but my watch only registered at a high point of under 120 at the time of the test, that’s a bit off. Is there a cap on the watch that it doesn’t measure over ?

Apple watch heart rate monitor I was getting a physical the other day and was in doctors office. I told him that my resting heart rate was typically below 35 (as measured by Cardio App) each morning when woke up, and was still in bed. I said the apple watch at the same time typically read about twice that amount. I asked if he knew why. He had me on his monitor, and it at the time read about 40. (I had ridden my bike to his office.). He manually measured my pulse and confirmed about 40. However, my apple watch read about 75. He said: “you need to tell this to Apple. They need to know that their watch is not correctly reading pulse rate. Perhaps it is because your heart rate is extremely low, and it is not set up to read such out of norm rates. You have a low heart rate because you are so physically active, but the apple watch should still provide a closer match.” Thouhts?

been using rhe apple watxh foe years. all if a sudden my heaet rate for resting and workout has increased bu 40 points. Been using the Apple Watch for years to monitor my heart rate. All is a sudden my resting and workout increased by 40 points is it possible there is a problem with the watch?

erroneous measurements of my heart beat Hello! Often my watch gives erroneous measurements of my heart beat. This happens typically when I put the watch on when I get out of bed in the morning. The watch says initially that my heart is beating at over 160 or 170 bpm. Then it reverts to a more realistic figure (for me). The erroneous measurements last generally for about 10 - 20 minutes but sometimes longer. If I keep the watch on during the night this does not happen when I get out of bed. The erroneous measurements do not happen at any other time during the day, even if I leave the watch to be recharged. Have other users experienced similar erroneous measurements?
