My wife's name won't show up in Message's for Mac.

My wife's name won't show up in Message's for Mac.

So this started about two months ago and I've been trying to wait it out. On my Phone I can put in my wife's name and it appears. On my iPad the same thing. On my MacBook Pro though it doesn't UNLESS I type in her phone number and then it converts to her name. Any ideas?

Hi,

In Contacts does her entry include the country code in the iPhone Number ?

This has become an issue more recently as the OS no longer tells Messages the computer's location.

The iOS devices do the location thing better and don't always need the Country Code to be in front of the number.
