iphone app fitbit bluetooth pairing with device

hi All

Hope you can help please. Have just brought a fit-bit Alta and am trying to pair via blue tooth the device. Software on my phone is up to date and blue tooth is on. Blue tooth successfully pairs with other devices. Have left both on charge over night and left device sitting on phone. The app will not find device. Have gone through all trouble shooting recommended my fitbit. Can you help please

Bluetooth connection I updated my iPhone 7 Plus to 12.4.1. All Bluetooth connection work except from my fitbit. It discovers it but drops it again. Updated fitbit app this morning. Tried all the suggestions that i found will not stay connected to sync. Anyone figured this one out? carolina
