Globe icon enabled but missing on iMessage keyboard

I have iPad Air Version 11.2.6. The globe icon is missing from iMessage keyboard. Emoji keyboard is enabled. I deleted it, restarted and reinstalled but still does not appear.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities luvseagles,

I see that you're missing the globe icon on your iPad keyboard. I understand your concern, and I'd be glad to help.

Looks like you've already done some great troubleshooting steps. The next step you can try is resetting all of your device settings back to the factory state. Keep in mind this will revert all settings that you've customized or changed (including things like your Wallpaper and any alarms you had set). This means you may need to reconfigure some of those settings including network settings (so be sure you have your Wi-Fi password handy).

Before you do this step, it’s always a good idea to be sure you have a recent backup of your device. You can learn more about backing up your data and settings here:
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

When you’re ready go to Settings > General > Reset and choose "Reset All Settings." Let me know how that goes.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Have a great day!
