What are these EFI Partition Files?

Good evening everyone,

I would like to find out what are these files which I have seen on my EFI Partition?

EFI/EFI/APPLE/UPDATERS/MULTIUPDATER:

total 344

-rwxrwxrwx 1 administrator staff 91832 Mar 2 15:20 HPMUtil.efi

-rwxrwxrwx 1 administrator staff 78776 Mar 2 15:20 MultiUpdater.efi

And these were present on my EFI Partition exactly as it was in "out of the store" state.

EFI/EFI/APPLE/UPDATERS/TBTH:

total 2440

-rwxrwxrwx 1 administrator staff 512000 Jan 1 2017 Mac-551B86E5744E2388-TBT-NVM-C0-23.1-S109-P_C0-5.52.0-SS-R0.bin

-rwxrwxrwx 1 administrator staff 512000 Jan 1 2017 Mac-551B86E5744E2388-TBT-NVM-C0-23.1-S109-P_C0-5.52.0-SS-R1.bin

-rwxrwxrwx 1 administrator staff 225048 Jan 1 2017 ThorUtil_7.69.efi

I'm especially interested in ThorUtil_7.69.efi what it is? And also those 2 bin files Mac-551B86E5744E2388-TBT-NVM-C0-23.1-S109-P_C0-5.52.0-SS-R0.bin and Mac-551B86E5744E2388-TBT-NVM-C0-23.1-S109-P_C0-5.52.0-SS-R1.bin in EFI/APPLE/UPDATERS/TBTH folder. What are these files??? "ThorUtil" sounds strange, but as it was present with "out of the store" configuration I would not suspect interference with any malware, root-kits, etc.

Since that time when I got this list I have reinstalled my MacBookPro14,3 with latest version of clean macOS installation and now I don't have these files present on my EFI Partition any more. Is it ok?

I don't see any problems, system instability or suspicious behavior, but I just think those files must have been there for a reason??? Rest of EFI Partition content re-created during reinstallation automatically by it self, folders like EMBEDDEDOS, EXTENSIONS, FIRMWARE, but the question is am I missing still something?? Is it ok not to have those ...UPDATERS files present on EFI Partition could I possibly miss some EFI updates, etc.?

Is it good idea to copy those files to my current EFI Partition from backup? Or not, better leave it as it is and don't touch the content of active EFI Partition???

Thanks in advance for any peace of information, I have Googled this a lot, but haven't found nearly any peace of useful documentation to these files or some explanation to todays Apple's EFI Partition content. If anyone here experienced with Apple's EFI Partition files, please share some information.

Have good evening everyone,

Bye Manoli
