The relevant information is not what hardware you are using but what version of OS X/macOS you are using. Pages 4.3 is the last version of Pages 4 & it runs in High Sierra & earlier (at least as far back as Mavericks, OS X 10.9). You can download the standalone updater for iWork 9.3 from this page. It is a single updater that updates all three iWork '09 apps that were originally installed from the retail DVD.

Stated requirement for iWork '09 v9.1 (pages '09 v4.1) is Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.6 and above).

It introduced fullscreen support and the rather annoying a-backward auto-save method, which maybe a reason to stick with a slightly previous version.

I am running Pages '09 v4.1 in Snow Leopard macOS 10.6.8.

That is an odd question because yes it will. What are you experiencing to ask the question?
Because whatever that is will probably be the issue.

I did check before I posted & my Mac mini running Snow Leopard is running Pages 4.0.4 & another Mac mini running Mavericks has Pages 4.3.
iWork 9.1 = 10.6.6 - 10.7.3
iWork 9.3 = 10.7.4 +
Only just citing the OS requirements for those updaters — not a recommendation for current functionality replacement. 😉
