Macbook Pro 13" Retina Display Graphics Issue

It has been 3 days since I bought this used Early 2015 13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display. So far, it works decently well, but there's one bay area that bothers me, and that is the display making weird artifacts and some flickering.

About the display glitching, it's not a hardware issue. It's most likely a software/driver issue which can be reproduced with moderate, if not heavy multitasking. That includes messaging (Discord for that matter,) browsing, streaming video, etc. etc.. I've tried resetting the NVRAM/PRAM and SMC. No such luck. I've even updated to the latest version of High Sierra, (10.13.3) and no luck either. I was able to capture some display glitches with the QuickTime screen recorder, which definitely indicates a possible driver issue. Any remedies would be appreciated, and hopefully a driver update.

Specifications:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13 Inch, Early 2015)

2.7 GHz Core i5

8GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3), 13" Early 2015, A1502

Backup the computer, erase the drive and reinstall a fresh copy of macOS.

Install El Capitan or Later from Scratch

If possible backup your files.

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime hold down the CommandandRkeys until the Apple logo appears. When the Utility Menu appears:
  2. Select Disk Utility from the Utility Menu and click on Continue button.
  3. When Disk Utility loads select the volume (indented entry, usually Macintosh HD) from the Device list.
  4. Click on the Erase icon in Disk Utility's main window. A panel will drop down.
  5. Set the Format type to APFS (SSDs only) or Mac OS Extended (Journaled.)
  6. Click on the Apply button, then wait for the Done button to activate and click on it.
  7. Quit Disk Utility and return to the Utility Menu.
  8. Select Install OS X and click on the Continue button.

This will install the version of OS X you had installed.

A few questions before I reset my mac.

1. I've had the GPU issue since 10.12 (Sierra), will that driver be replaced with the exact same driver that came with sierra?

2. Since the graphics driver could be replaced with the exact same driver during the reinstall process, the issue could potentially return. Are you sure that will 100% work?
