Featured Playlists only in Beats 1

Why is it that in the last few weeks, only certain Beats 1 radio stations have on-demand playlists but others have been removed? These now only provide a Featured Playlist and the original radio program.

New releases playlist? One thing I love about Spotify is it knowing my fave artists and keeping me informed with their latest releases with a playlist (release radar). Does Apple not have the same? I see this: But can only play separate songs, there does not appear to be a playlist to just play weekly releases? Which seems bizarre to me.

How do I listen to a sample track on Music I have read that I need to go to iTunes Store. If I click on 'iTunes store' on the left in Music then enter an artist in the search box it shows the artist / albums / tracks but when I try to play a track the 'Apple Music Get 3 months free' pops up. If I click 'Not now' that disappears but reappears if I try and play a track. I have searched the App Store for 'iTunes Store'; nothing comes up. How do I listen to a sample of a track?
