I accidentally washed the iPhone headphone jack adapter attached to my skull candy earbud headphones. They were in the pocket of my jacket.
Is there anything I can do to make sure there is no damage to the jack adapter?
Unfortunately, there isn't any way you can do other than trying it into your phone which I do not recommend since it could damage your phone internals.

Let it completely dry (48 hours or more in a cool, dry place) and then try it. With all the water gone it will not harm your phone.
