My email won’t push automatically until I open the iOS mail app,why?

I won’t be notified of new mail until I open the iOS mail app. Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it.

ipad os15.4 fetch email issue Hi, I have iPad is 15.4 installed on an IPad Air 4 and iPad mini. On both devices Mail is not being fetched unless I open the app. I can resolve the issue by powering down the device and restarting, the emails then come through as normal for about 24 hours then the issue starts again. Emails on my push iCloud account are working fine. As anyone else got this issue and how is it resolved?
