Can't launch programs with command+space anymore

Until a recent update I could launch any program by pressing command+space and typing the first few letters of the application. Now it seems this function only searches the web. How do I get the old functionality back?

Command + Tab going 2 spaces to the right instead of 1 Hey all, basically my problem is that whenever I try and switch tabs with Command + Tab, it goes 2 spaces instead of 1. Terminal Input My terminal misbehaves. Sometimes when I try to delete a character in command line, some other character gets deleted. When I write a character in terminal sometimes it overwrites other characters(which is just beside) and the command I see is not what it runs (some small characters differ which I have changed recently). Anyway to reinstall the terminal??
