iPhone X Display Not Turning on?

I had something peculiar happen to iPhone X earlier. I was using it normally, and all of a sudden the screen went black and I couldn't do anything. The thing is, its still powered on because I can feel the vibrations when I get notifications and I can feel the vibration when I hold the power button trying to power it on. I have tried plugging it into a charger, tried rebooting my phone with power + volume up button method, also with volume up quick press + volume down quick press + hold power button method, and also tried plugging my phone into iTunes and doing a software update. Trying to avoid having to make an appointment for Apple Repair because I just don't have the time. Hoping someone who has had this issue and gotten it resolved here can help me out. I would greatly appreciate it!

Also just wanted to note that the phone is only a few weeks old and has not been dropped or water damaged.

Hi matthewjc7,
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. If the screen on your iPhone X is black, but otherwise the phone seems to be powered on and responsive, and you've already gone through the steps in the following article (which it sounds like you have), you may want to reach out to Apple Support directly, as noted at the bottom of that article (it also has a direct link to Support):
