Is there a way i can gift an app to someone in another country?

I live in the USA and my step-daughter lives in Singapore. Is there a way I can gift her an app? The app store says only if both people are in the same country.

Wire her the money for the app because what you want to do can't be done. There is no way around Apple's policy.

Technically physical location is not what matters the most.

It's the actual region or country set for iTunes & App store on the Apple ID.

If your daughter is using the Singapore App Store and you are using the U.S store, then you cannot gift her an App.

Well, technically you can, but she won't be able to redeem the gift in the Singapore store.

What you send as a gift is a code to an App that resides in the a store you are using. So it cannot be redeemed from a different store.

If you need her to have this App, the best bet is to send her the money, and let her buy it herself.
