i have 2 iphones linked to the same apple id and want to link them separately?

Haven’t tired anything yet. I have an iPhone 8plus and my son has an iPhone 5s. They are both linked to my Apple ID, iCloud...etc. how do I create and link the iPhone 5s to a different Apple ID?

Create an Apple ID >>> https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT203993

On the 5s, sign out of the current Apple ID and sign in with your new one.
