Can it get inside of it

Hey let me start of by saying i have ocd so I’m so protective over my iPhone so was taking a shower and I press the home button and I forgot my hand was wet and i fell asleep and I just woke up and but the water was gone where did it go ? Did it go inside ?

WHAT IF WATER DAMAGED MY TOUCH SCREEN Help!!! I dropped my iphone xs into the bathtub for approximately 2 seconds. (just plain water no soap or anything) touch screen is non responsive except the first half a second the phone is trying to unlock. (its a miracle if i get passed the passcode honestly it seems) ive thought about guided access but cant really get to it after an hour of trying. put it in rice overnight and had a fan on the lightning port as well Going to take out the sim card now and see if that does anything. Any other ideas to try and fix this without a computer. im on my xbox atm. I do have a computer with itunes but its not mine and not accessible to me during the day time.

You have not told us which model iPhone you have.

iPhone 7 and later are water resistant (not water proof). Earlier models are not even water resistant.

As you can see here, even water resistant iPhones should not be taken into the shower.

Take your iPhone to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center. Let them assess it and advise you how to proceed.

You've never had any experience with water before?

Try googling evaporation.

I'm sure you could find a Wikipedia article on it.
