Question: Calendar displays wrong date on dock

macOS 10.13.3 appears to display the previous date, rather than the current date. When I bring up the calendar the correct day is "selected", only displays the previous date on the dock. The system time is correct.

Any thoughts?

System Time is stored as Universal Time (UTC) then modified by your Time Zone to show you local time.

Is your Time Zone correct?

System preferences > Date&Time > Time Zone ...

... is this showing a reasonably accurate representation of your location on the planet?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, the system clock date, time and TZ are correct. When I looked at it this morning, the problem had corrected itself. Mystery problems like this are the worst. You never know when they will return.

Thanks again
