iPhone 8+ submerged in a river for 30 minutes - what to do?!!

Hi, I dropped my phone in a river and it took about 30 minutes to find it. Someone fished it out (miraculously) but after 20 minutes of staying alive, it has now switched off and won't switch back on again. Any tips on what to do? I currently have it in a bucket of rice but I'm not sure if there is anything else I can try to help it.

I am on vacation in Bali and there are no Apple stores here, only authorized sellers/repair shops. Thank you!

Lisa

It was a mistake turning it on and allowing electricity to flow when there's the greatest chance of short circuit damage, but 30 minutes is a long time underwater and it is probably damaged anyway.
