iTunes freezes when iPhone is connected.

I tried to back up my phone to my laptop but iTunes freezes everytime i plug the phone in. I can't close iTunes and am forced to shut it down via Task Manager.

Here are some details:

iOS: 11.2.6

iTunes version: 12.7.3.46

Windows version: Windows 10, 64 bit

Any solutions out there???

Can't sync iTunes on iPhone with home windows pc. It was working fine but now it's not. When I plug in my iPhone 6+ it should say trust this computer but it doesn't, it lights up and says charging. When I go into iTunes on computer it should show my phone in the column on the left but it doesn't. Also I can't get out of iTunes on pc. Normally I click the x in the upper right corner and that closes the program but it doesn't, instead the computer freezes up. The only way to exit iTunes is to shut down computer. I tried uninstalling iTunes then reinstalling it but that didn't help. It's the same. iTunes is also super slow now. Other than iTunes everything else on the computer is working perfectly.

iTunes freezes when iPhone plugged in I just got a new PC, and I haven't been able to get iTunes to sync with my iPhone. When I have iTunes open and plug in my phone, iTunes freezes. Sometimes if I wait long enough (several minutes), iTunes eventually shows my phone, but it still freezes/runs very slowly. If I'm able to click on my phone, it shows all content on the phone as "Other" and backup attempts fail. Accessing my iPhone via Windows Explorer works fine, and I was able to download a few hundred photos without issues. iTunes works fine with my iPod Classic 160. No freezes, and a sync worked fine. I've tried several different USB ports on my PC (2.0, 3.1 gen 1, 3.1 gen 2), as well as different cables. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes a few times. The last time I ran the installer as an Administrator. Dell XPS interfering with iTunes Hi, Itunes will no longer recognize my Iphone7. When I open Itunes on my Dell XPS I can see my phone briefly but then it's as if a fight for control is taking place and while I have managed to start a backup it does not complete as the phone disappears from iTunes part way through. I have turned Autoplay off on my laptop and reinstalled Itunes to no avail. Any idea what's going on and what to do about it. This stuff used to work fine.
