Device storage space

My phone is not showing my pictures and videos after every month, they are not accessible on my phone. This is a new iphone 7 and I have loads of storage space. The videos and photos are saved to cloud but I want them to still play on my phone. How do I arrange this? Why is this happening?

I understand that your photos are still available in iCloud, but they stop showing on your iPhone after a month. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

Since your photos are still showing on iCloud, I recommend turning on iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone. The following article shows how:

Turn on iCloud Photo Library

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10.3 or later, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos, then turn on iCloud Photo Library. In iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud > Photos.
