It's not very clear what is the problem you're faced with.
What happens when you open Updates section in AppStore app and tap Update all on the top right? Do you see any error messages? Does update start and never finishes?
What troubleshooting steps did you already take?
Do you have Autoupdate enabled: Turn on Automatic Downloads for iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support
