What do I do if I suspect someone has hacked my phone how do I secure my information and what steps do I need to take to totally reset it it’s an iPhone

I think someone hacked my phone I use boingo’s wifi which has no password but requires an account (I have one) and Im just wondering if somebody with or without an account could get on the red and hack my phone. And If they do are they able to see my gallery, messages and passwords? My phone just turn off out of nowhere and had to turn it back on. Usually my phone locks for 2 minute because someone was trying to unlock it. I’ve read that’s a sign of hacking. I just wanna know that my personal life keeps being personal.
