You do not need AVG and certainly not Spybot as has been recommended by Peerleader.
Anti virus apps are not needed and waste system resources.
Nope. And what is out there is covered by the built-in X-Protect system.
What you fail to recognize is anti-virus programs were ineffective then as they are now.

I wrote my own versions of those, and so far, they are proving to be extremely effective. 😀

I still miss Hypercard.
I "graduated" to Supercard and I miss that. I also miss After Dark. Especially the dude that mowed the lawn.
I remember. The good old days.
If you wanted to kill time with your screen saver, After Dark also had the space shoot-em-up game.
I spent the good part of three years designing LInux tweaks, interface elements, wallpapers, etc. Thinking back, I probably could have spent my time better. Especially since I didn't get paid. lol
