Originally I set up my own apple ID and then got a different phone that I had for several years. In the meantime my daughter was using my apple ID. I have just switched back to an iPhone and want to start using my ID again. How do I get all of my daughters content off of my ID and on to her own. She changed her ID on her phone but all of her contacts, music, etc. is still on my phone because I'm using the original ID.

Each ID is like a unique customer. Therefore, any purchase/download is always associated to the ID that was signed into the store at the time of download and cannot be transferred to a different ID.
As far as her contacts showing on your phone, that is likely because you two are still sharing the same ID in settings-iCloud. I would suggest a family share plan where your daughter would have her own ID yet you both could still share purchases if you wanted. Check this out: Family Sharing - Apple Support
