No Apple TV available. iPad photos on tv?

Alternatively, some TV manufacturers offer Apps to connect to their TVs and send content to them.

You may want to search the App store for an App from your TV manufacturer and see if does what you want.

@Carolyn: Home Sharing requires an Apple Tv which the OP does not have.

The cable I linked to above will be the easiest way to do it if the TV in question has an HDMI input.

It can let you mirror your iPad's screen to a TV with minimal fuss.

Just have the adapter and an HDMI cable available.

One way would be to share via AirPlay on an Apple TV.
