Cannot send audio to Bose speaker in AppleTV 4th gen

I successfully paired my Bose Soundlink mini to my Apple TV 4th gen via Bluetooth devices. However, despite showing up as connected, when I go to the audio options to send the audio to the speaker, it does not show up, it only shows Apple TV. Any help?
