My Macbook Pro is running slow and I believe it is that I am out of RAM, can I add more RAM or how do I shut down what is running in the background and using RAM so as to increase the speed?

you appear to have components for canon and HP. Do you use multiple printers? do you need those printers utilities if the driver for the printer and scanner is needed only?
you also appear to be using software for NFTS formatted drive. Do you need to have this drive to go between Mac and Windows directly plugged into those computers? if not you are getting no benefit from using it as NTFS and you have some overhead with the seagate tools.
