I cant remember my user name on my Mac administrator. how can I recover it?
I'm trying to upload some applications in my iMac, but i required a computer administrator name and password, and I can't remember the name. how can I recover it?

Find the Mac OS X install CD or DVD that came with your Mac or the one that you used to install Mac OS X. Insert it into the machine. Then, from the menu, choose Restart. As the Mac starts up again, hold down the letter C key, which starts the Mac from the CD/DVD and launches the Mac OS X installer.
On the first installer screen, Choose Reset Password from the installer menu. When the Password Reset screen appears, click the hard drive that contains Mac OS X. From the first pop-up menu, choose the name of your account . Now make up a new password and type it into both boxes. Click Save, Close the window and Restart
