Question: Screen Shot Problem????

I am getting the following message when I try to open a screen shot of a picture (Option_Shift_4) on the internet. "The template failed to load. (Did you alter the UPC code in the template image?). This process has never failed me for the many years I have used it.

iMac (24-inch Early 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 1T WD External, 350 OWC External, Panasonic PV-GS300 DVC,

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Also try the Safe Mode.
