add contact to whats app

• Open Whatsapp
• Tap Calls on the bottom of the screen
• Tap the phone icon in the upper right
• Choose a contact from your Contacts app

Note: The contact must be in your contacts, and must have a mobile phone entry

Thanks for using Apple Communities.

As Whatsapp uses your standard contacts, you can just add it as a normal number on the App Phone. Remember that Whatsapp must be able to access your contacts for show the names you have in your contacts. You can check it at "Settings> Whatsapp". The contacts switch must be green.

Once you add you contact, just wait a few moments and it will shows as a contact in Whatsapp new conversation.
