i have cracked my screen in my iphone 7... its still under warranty for 5 months... wouldi get charged to have it repaired

I'm afraid your warranty does not cover such damage. Your warranty actually covers manufacturing defects only. The exception is if you were able to buy and bought the AppleCare+ extended warranty. That covers up to two incidents of similar accidental damage of the nature you have.

Call Apple Support and they will be able to tell you how to proceed.
