Keep Photo library synced organized without iCloud Photo library

My situation :

I record many videos in 4k and takes a lot of time to sync them between my devices. I would rather airdrop them then waiting for them to up-and download.

What can/should I do to keep the my macOS/ iOS library synced without using iCloud photo library?

Example :

I took pictures on my iPhone, other videos on my iPad and connect it at the end of the day to my macbook. Will I find all pics and videos on all three devices hassle-free after connecting my iOS devices with my mac?
